PROCLAIM 2018 announces new Major Sponsor – University of Notre Dame

UNDA logoIt is with great pleasure that PROCLAIM 2018 announces the University of Notre Dame, Australia as the Major Sponsor for this year’s national conference to be held in Brisbane next month (July 12- 14).

Being held in Queensland for the first time, this fourth biennial PROCLAIM conference is organised and hosted by the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane, in partnership with the National Centre for Evangelisation – an agency of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference.

The theme of the conference is “Make your home in me”, drawing upon John’s Gospel. Designed primarily as a conference to inspire and resource the renewal of parishes, PROCLAIM 2018 will address the key areas of Leadership, Culture Change, Young People, Belonging and Evangelisation.

PROCALIM 2018 is proud to partner with The University of Notre Dame which has a clear mission to provide an excellent standard of teaching, scholarship and research firmly embedded within a context of Catholic faith and values.

In pursuing this mission, the University seeks to be an outstanding Australian university, and one of the best Catholic universities in the world. It is this passion that has guided University of Notre Dame’s growth and development from a small but enthusiastic intake of student’s in 1992 – to today’s vibrant community of more than 12,000 students.

Professor Celia Hammond, Vice-Chancellor of University of Notre Dame will join a  strong line-up of speakers, discussion panellists and facilitators from Australia and overseas, including New Zealand Cardinal John Dew, Archbishop of Brisbane Mark Coleridge, Plenary Council 2020 facilitator Lana Turvey-Collins, and Citipointe Church Community Leader Karolina Gunsser. Other speakers will include Cambodian Jesuit priest Monsignor Enrique Fiqaredo and Canadian Ron Huntley, whose Divine Renovation ministry was set up to help lead parish renewal programs.
