How

PROCLAIM 2018 draws upon the inspiration of the Pope’s ‘Year of Youth’ and the ongoing missionary challenge of Pope Francis in Evangelii Gaudium. Over three days participants will be encouraged to assume the joyful call to create parishes that are evangelising communities that welcome, engage and transform the next generation with the love of Christ.

The structure of the conference allows for expert keynote presentations, Q and A sessions with panels of experts, as well as facilitated conversations that focus on how participants can put in to action what they have heard at the conference in their local parish. There will be opportunity to network extensively with leaders in parish communities, members of groups and movements, personnel from diocesan agencies and to share practical ideas for making healthy and evangelising parishes.

PROCLAIM 2018 keynote speakers have a dedication to renewing parish life for mission. Their personal experience and vision of the Church will provide invaluable support, ideas and pastoral initiatives for parishes around Australia and beyond. Complementing these keynotes, specialists from a wide variety of fields from all over Australia will facilitate practical conversations specifically designed to promote and cultivate evangelising parishes in the local context.
